Net Asset Value

The per-share value of a fund's holdings

NAV (Net Asset Value) is the value of a fund's assets minus its liabilities, divided by the number of shares — the price per share. It represents a fund's true worth, and when an ETF's market price drifts far from NAV, it's said to trade at a premium or discount.
