How the rate is calculated
Rates come from international FX data updated once a day. Every currency is converted through the US dollar (USD), so non-dollar pairs like won↔yen convert directly too.
The values shown are reference rates close to the interbank 'mid-market' rate. Actual exchanges add bank or card fees and a spread (the gap between buy and sell), so the amount will differ a bit.
How to use it

Rates move a little every day. For large exchanges or transfers, check your bank's posted rate again right before the transaction.
